Worker to Worker was produced by the Department of Labor - Occupational Health and Safety Administration in 1980to highlight the many health and safety problems that workers routinely encounter on the job. Workers talk about their experience with OSHA and NIOSH and how they don't want their plants to be shut down but do want to have a safe work environment. It is a good portrayal of how government can work with workers and company owners to find that stable middle ground that works for all parties.

You Are My Sunshine (2002) was produced by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. This video tells the story of the Sunshine Mine disaster of 1972 via the stories of 27 people who lived through the disaster. The video examines what happened, what went wrong and discusses lessons learned. The Sunshine fire was the driving force behind the creation of the Metal/Nonmetal Health and Safety Act of 1977. Ninety one miners were lost in this tragic accident.
