American Locomotive Engineers was published in 1899 and is a comprehensive biography of important Railroad Engineers at the end of the 19th century. The book is over 600 pages in length and has hundreds of biographies - many with portraits. It makes an excellent addition to your reference library.

The Baldwin Locomotive Works was an American builder of railroad (railway) locomotives. It was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Eddystone, Pennsylvania. The company experienced its heyday as a premier builder of steam locomotives and went into slow decline as the market switched more and more to diesel locomotives, where they weren't able to compete effectively. This CD collection contains three fascinating books related to their steam locomotive days.

The magazine was found on all the passenger trains in B&O's Premiere Royal Blue Line fron D.C. to New York City. It was provided free of charge for all passengers for reading during their journey. Each issue contained a variety of articles and pictures to make for interesting and informative reading by the passengers - much like the magazines found in modern day airplanes.
