This collection of two educatonal films are targeted for teenage
girls, teaching them about their body, how it operations, and how
the reproductive organs undergo changes as they grow older and what
to expect during each phase of their period - pms, cramps, bloating,
how to use tampons and other devices to absorb the blood flow and
much more.
The total run time of this collection is 28 minutes.
Film 1: Molly Grows Up (1953) - Follow the story of Molly as she
grows up and goes from being a girl to a women. The film explains
the facts of menstruation and examines ways to communicate with
her about the changes that are going on in her body and mind due
to these hormonal changes.
Film 2: Naturally - a Girl (1973) An exploration of menstruation
- the film uses vignettes, animation and comments by girls and boys
to explore the medical facts and some personal feelings about menstruation.
