This film looks at the air operations over Khe Sanh during early
1968. It disucsses how Oeration Niagara supplied 24,000 tactical
sorties and 2,700 B-52 sorties over the besieged Marine base at
Khe Sanh. More than 110,000 tons of bombs were dropped on the enemy
during this two month period of intense battle.
It shows that through the use of combined Airforce, Navy and Marine
tactical air units, they were able to get the North Vietnamese to
lift the siege at Khe Sanh in March of 1968.
