Produced by the Environmental Protection Agency, this
film provides an overview of the day-to-day activities surrounding the tragic
train wreck of September 28, 1982, in Livingston, Louisiana. This wreck containing
41 cars carrying hazardous chemical materials derailed, causing the contents to
spill and burn for days. The film shows several scenes of the actual wreckage
and on a day by day basis shows the activities and events surrounding the containment
of this extremely hazardous disaster.
