Produced by the Department of Agriculture, Human Nutrition Information Service in 1983, this video explores the relationship between food and fitness showing how the proper foods in the correct proportions help achieve physical fitness. While the government has made some tweaks to the food pyramid since this video was produced, it is still an excellent overview of how to choose healthy foods, how to understand food labels in the supermarket and many other aspects of nutrition that are just as relevant to your health and physical fitness levels today as it was back in 1983 when it was produced.
