The Ozzie and Harriet radio show was born
when Red Skelton was drafted in March 1944 on the Ozzie and Harriet TV show. At
that time Ozzie Nelson was prompted to create his own family situation comedy
radio show. From that beginning, the Adventures of Ozzie and
Harriet launched on CBS on October 8, 1944, making a mid-season switch to NBC
in 1949. The final years of the radio series were on ABC with the show ending
on June 18, 1954. This collection of Ozzie and Harriet Greats
includes 78 different shows for a total of 28+ hours of listening enjoyment. This
