The series which starred William Gargan as Barrie Craig,dealt with the adventures of his detective agency which he ran from his Madison Avenue office. The unique twist in this detective series is the laid back nature of Barrie - not getting ruffled no matter how tense the moment.

As an interesting side note, Gargan actually worked as a private detective in his earlier days and was able to draw on these experiences in his performance.
