Allegheny Portage Railroad is a 1993 film created by the
National Park Service; Harpers Ferry, WV. Harpers Ferry Center. The film tells
the history of the Allegheny Portage Railroad in the westward movement of settlers
and commerce in central Pennsylvania in the mid-1800's. It is a fascinating story
of how the railroad was instrumental in the migration of settlers through this
area. This DVD has a runtime of approximately 20 minutes. Here are
