Neighborhood Safety, produced by the National Institute of Justice, explores the relationship between the local police and their community. It addresses the issue of fear of crime and steps police forces are taking to reduce this fear - which is often much greater than the reality of crime in neighborhoods. The DVD explores the various ways police forces are reaching out to the citizens in communities to strengthen relationships and work as partners to make neighborhoods a safer place.
