Curtis's Botanical Magazine Collection
The Curtis's Botanical Magazine collection comprises all the issues published from its inception in 1787 all the way to issue 146, published in 1920. Each issue is comprised of a several page description of a particular botanical delight along with a beautifully colored rendering of the plant in question. It also includes an index of the first 130 volumes to make finding particular plants easier.
This amazing collection has more than 8000 color plates, a handful of which are displayed below.
This DVD runs on all Windows and Macintosh computers. You must have a web browser and Adobe Acrobat Reader - (available for free download if you do not have it installed on your computer.) The book index is organized in an HTML menu that is compatible with all browsers and the books themselves are in PDF format to allow them to be universally accessed. Many of the books on this DVD are fully searchable and all are printable.
