Product Details

Destination Freedom was an African-American Civil Rights drama that played from 1948 to 1950. This show was created by Richard Durham to showcase the true image of the African American society in an attempt to remove so many of the stereotypes.

Perhaps more than any other radio show of its time, this show was literally put on at the peril of the presenters as it constantly attacked the white-black system that was in place at that time and certainly ruffled a lot of feathers.

This collection of Destination Freedom Greats includes 45 different shows for a total of 22+ hours of listening enjoyment.
