Colors... put the right combination together and
you get beauty. Put the
wrong combination together and you get a horrible clash to the
senses. Learn the secret of color combining from these historic
films.
A crucial part of home decorating is coordinating the colors in
rooms so that they are pleasing to the eye and other senses. Do
it right and you will have a place you enjoy. Do it wrong and you
will find yourself avoiding that area of the house. This collection
of two historic films examines how color coordination can easily
be done for your home and in fact in all aspects of your life.
Color Harmony for Your Home (ca. 1956) - This film is an examination
of how to choose proper colors for painting the rooms of your house.
It goes over how to use paint color charts by demonstrating the

of colors willwork best with the furniture and other aspects of
the rooms being decorated. Although over fifty years old, the lessons
in this film still apply today.
Color Keying in Art and Living (1950) - This film examines color
relationships and how they apply to everyday life choices such as
home decoration as well as hair, eyes, complexion, and clothes.
