The Complete Regular Army Register of the United States
for One Hundred Years (1779 to 1879) is a great research tool
for early U.S. military researchers and genealogists searching
out wartime details of our early protectors.
It is more than 1400 pages and contains 1000's of names and

the engagement of 22 and 23 Nov., 1861, between Fort Pickens
and the rebel batteries. Brevet Major Genl., 2 Aug., 1866,
for distinguished services in the suppression of riot in
New York City.
