The Watchman, Jeweller & Silversmith Magazine
The Watchman, Jeweller & Silversmith Magazine is a fascinating late 19th century publication - covering topics of interest to the artisans of the jewelry trade - the people making watches and clocks, artisan jewelry and silversmith work. Since these crafts were closely aligned in the age of hand made items, this magazine was an industry stalwart, keeping them up to date with all the latest developments in these fields.
Each volume runs about 400 pages and covers all the issues published in a particular year. This is a complete run of volumes 1 thorugh 19 with the exception of volume 11 (the July, 1885 through June, 1886 issues )
Here are some page images from a few of the issues so you can see some of the typical contents of the volumes.
