Women Are Surgeons was produced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This program examines three successful women surgeons and discusses how the balance a very demanding career with family life. It shows them working in the operating rooms on real-life trauma, orthopedic and cardiac surgeries. It also educates young women thinking of a career in surgery by a series of questions asked of the doctors about challenges in this career choice.
