This is an amazing collection of two vintage mechanical engineering
films showing a variety of factories and merchanical engineering
applications that were vital to our growth as a nation in the 1950s
and 1960s.
The first film is titled Mechanical Engineering at Dupont.
Made in the early 1960s, the film walks you through the factories
and plants at Dupont and all the exciting careers in mechanical
engineering that are available to potential workers at their plants.
The second film is titled To Enrich Mankind. This is a film
from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers made in 1955.
It tours all the advances made in mechanical engineering throughout
history and displays their positive impact on our lives.
The collection is in black and white and is approximately 1 hour
11 minutes long.
